Eating out
We have provided takeaway menus for good delivery restaurants in our cottages and several up to date menus for nearby restaurants and pubs in case you would rather not cook.  Just up the road from Cedar Park we have a super carvery which is £3.99 per person! Also serving a fabulous 'all you can eat Lincolnshire breakfast' for £2.99. Cleethorpes has a fabulous selection of award winning restaurants covering all cuisine.  Look out for the “stars on the doors” of each restaurant which guarantees you good quality food and service.  And then of course there is Fresh Grimsby Fish and Chips!

Cleethorpes Beach and Promenade
Cleethorpes has a sandy beach and has been awarded the Blue Flag. As Cleethorpes promenade is flat it is particularly friendly for prams and wheelchair users.

Disability friendly
Full details and locations of special facilities can be found at Cleethorpes TIC.  Cleethorpes has recently opened superb new changing facilities located at the boating lake.

Dogs are welcome
Dogs are allowed on the beach from the Leisure Centre to Pleasure Island but the area from the Leisure Centre to Wonderland is a dog free zone from Easter to October.

Several restaurants in Cleethorpes are dog friendly and allow dogs in the restaurant whilst you eat.  They provide dog treats for sale and water bowls outside.

The Humberston Country Park even has a special area for dogs to swim in the lake safely off the lead.

In Bloom
Last year Cleethorpes was awarded the highest award –RHS Britain in bloom Gold Award and won the RHS Britain in Bloom Coastal Category for its fabulous garden displays, both residentially and in public areas.  The promenade gardens, in particular, are a sight to behold.  The judges are also looking at the resort as a whole – cleanliness of the streets, quality of facilities etc are all taken into account.  This year plans to be bigger and better and more beautiful than ever before.

Grimsby  won the East Midlands in Bloom Gold award and the East Midlands in Bloom Small City Category.

Cleethorpes and Grimsby have several superb garden centres.   Most have lovely restaurants and gift shops.
